year. well it's the new year now...got all the christmas stuff away, a new baby, a new house to paint, an old one to pack up, and the rest of the week off from school. time to start getting crafty? maybe it's a good way to deal with stress or something. it's all i want to do right now. so it's what like the 4th or something like that and i've already finished two quilts and started painting a giant letter for the girls room. i've got some energy again! i love it! I can finally start working out a little again too. I'm feeling good.
i'm working on getting my etsy store put together too. I just need to start listing my stuff.
so good bye 2006, it ended well with a beautiful baby but man i'm so glad it's done and over with....on to a new adventure.

so were are moving again....back to our old neiborhood. this is it, in progress. we are hoping by moving here for a few years we'll be able to build what we really want when we sell this.

well, this was my first week up and about after two plus months of bed rest. my mind wants to make so many things and do so much after being idle but my body is having trouble keeping up. i finished a few skirts that i started awhile ago for the saturday market that never ended up happening, almost have a few aprons done too....it feels good to do stuff (mentally) it hurts physically though. i'm dialated to a 2, now just have to wait for the body to say it's time.
this is a close up of the owl skirt i made, i love this material (found it at a thrift store) i'm hoping to have enough stuff together to sell before Christmas or maybe just to put up online someday....we'll see.

another weekend of camping is over. this time it was a reunion for my dad's side. i was a bit hesitant on going, but glad we did. we all had a fun time, especially these two! Gee, can you tell they are related???
came home to no change on our bathroom, i feel like i'm living out of a bag. i really hope it doesn't drag on too long before it's done.

I think we finally have a name for this baby...or at least one in the running. for some reason that alone makes me feel so much more prepared. Now i just wish i could get everything else done and really be ready. for some reason i just don't think it's going to happen.

well, we finally made it camping! we've had so many kinks in our plans this summer so far. we took a long trip to chelan (the van survived!) and camped with the hendersons and heidi. it was really fun and so relaxing. the kids did great and had a blast. the next two weekends we'll be camping too, they are so excited.
the doc says i need to kinda cool it a bit, i don't do that much but i guess that is just too much for my body. i 've been having a lot of contractions and have to lay down a few times a day if i want to try and avoid bed rest again. She also cut two weeks off my due date - she wants to make sure i don't have another big baby. so now i'm down to 3 months to get everything ready for the baby and school and everything else around here...oh yeah and rest.
hmmm....we are supposed to redo our bathroom in the next few weeks also.

well, we finally made it to the lake to swim. it was so nice to just leave on the spur of the moment and not be all grumpy and fighting with the kids to get all their stuff done. what a nice change. the weather was nice too for once. i finally got a picture of my daughter that she didn't wrinkle her face all up in too. yippee.
